Hello and welcome!  My name is Janet Icenogle and I have been coaching figure skating for over 31 years.  I am a current member of the Springfield Figure Skating Club (SFSC), The US Figure Skating Association (USFSA), and the Professional Skater’s Association (PSA).  I graduated with an Associate Degree as a Licensed & Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant with my main focus on pediatric mental health and geriatric practice/setting.  I became a Certified Yoga instructor in 2015 and currently instruct an off-ice skaters’ yoga class. I graduated as a Licensed Massage Therapist in 2018, and a Myofascial Release Therapist in 2019 focusing on holistic health and injury prevention.  I have passed my USFS Senior MIF, Freeskate, and Figure Tests, my Silver Pairs Test, and my Bronze Dance Tests. I have passed my Masters rating in Sports Science and have passed my basic written accreditation exam with the PSA.  I competed at the Senior level at both the regional and sectional championships, and toured with Ice Capades from 1988-1992.  I have competed at the U.S. Adult Midwestern Sectional Championships and U.S Adult National Championships at the Senior/Master level winning several titles throughout my career.  I currently coach skaters of all ages, including adults and individuals with intellectual disabilities (beginners-advanced).
